We are a large family of 18 persons ranging three generations ages from 8 month to 74 years. The house was ideal for a large group like ours. The house has been gently renovated in respect for the origin of the house. Now it stands in perfect condition for a vacation for a large group with all modern facilities.
The outstanding feature of the house is, that it is roomy enough to accommodate all in the family. But also, the gaming room (including a pool table, a chess table, a card table, and a general playing table), the stone pizza oven, and the swimming pool make Tenuta CostaRossa a unique house. Consequently, the house provided an excellent frame for our family vacation, leaving room for everybody to play, read, talk, or play games. It also provided facilities to prepare and enjoy meals for the family. The patio is fenced in and safe for small children.
The truly extraordinary thing about the house is that there is a house manager living in an adjacent house on the ground. Whenever we encountered a problem, the help was available.
We experienced an extra treat: the owner of the property gave us a tour of the Vineyards, the Winery, and the Wine Cellar. The winery and the wine cellar are placed in the basement of CostaRossa. The wine cellar contained an amazing collection of 45.000 bottles of wine from the 1970’ties. The tour also included the fascinating and colorful story of the house of CostaRossa.
